Holds a PhD in Computer Engineering and a M.Eng. in Networks and Systems Administration from the University of Deusto, and a B.A. in Psychology from the UNED. He is currently a Lecturer at the University of Deusto, where he teaches courses on Telecommunications and Computer Engineering.
His publications mainly focus on new methologies on Internet-based research, ICT, and Education. During the past few years he has carried out his research on DeustoTech Learning and Cátedra Telefónica – Deusto. Other research interests include Web Programming, Computer Security, Comput er Networks and Systems Administration.
Is lecturer at the Engineering Faculty (University of Deusto) since 1998 and director of DeustoTech Learning research group. She obtained her PhD with the thesis “Integral Accessibility of Digital Resource Centers for People with Visual Disability”.
Her research interests focus on the innovative use of technology in education, learning analytics and game-based learning.
Got a degree in Pedagogy at the University of Deusto (Bilbao, Spain) in 2005. She is research assistant at DeustoTech Learning since 2011 and works on the educational design of learning objects and as pedagogical consultant in several projects.
Her research areas include innovative use of technology in education, learning analytics, instructional design, competence assessment, and the integration of games and mobile devices in education.
